TAIWAN

Ok here are some of the things that caught my attention in Taiwan - mostly architecture though. Besides fashion and other arts like photography, I also love architecture. I mean, I love seeing and taking photos of beautiful designs and all but me actually designing an actual building? ... no way. :P ZERO skill. I'll stick to fashion instead.

Left: A golden retriever in full easter costume walking around near the Flora Expo. Absolutely tremendously adorable! It had a little pouch hanging around somewhere. Maybe it was asking for donations of some sort. Sorry, couldn't read the chinese characters in his costume. :)) I wonder where his owner is.. I should have taken him home. :P I always wanted to have a golden retriever.. but I'm happy with my 3 little shih tzus though.

Left: corridors of some floors in a hotel. Mesmerising, right?

Right: sky-high stairs near a temple. What a journey climbing that thing!

Right: Taiwan 101 - the tallest building there. It has a mall inside <3 with lots of famous labels

Right: golden wall inscriptions at another temple

Right: Events place at a hotel. The white thing is for the lights. O0O I miss my days playing with the theatre lights and working with my fellow Dramatics Guild production crew. :) Boy, we were hella gay. =)) (not pertaining to gender)

The wonderful world of Taiwan DAY 6

Beret #4. Wild leopard print. Raar =)) This is one of my latest creations this summer. I shall post my other 'masterpieces' next time.

I love this shot :O I look like a chic martian in Mars or something.

The 7-Eleven stores there.. are very. very. awesome. You'd find wonders in that store! These stockings and yummy treats, for instance. :) I love their milk there. Soo good. It has a certain creamy flavor.. mmm..

The wonderful world of Taiwan DAY 5

A lot of the pieces I brought for the trip were re-worn over and over again - namely shoes and accesories. That's coz I am absolutely certain there's gonna be a lot of shopping done so I need as much space in my luggage as possible. Imagine if I brought different pieces for each and every outfit.. I saved a lot of space. :) But we still ended up having our luggage overweight by 20 pounds in total. :P Whoops.

Horizontal stripes ain't so bad as they say...

my new hat =)) The sun was merciless again that day. My beret could not fully protect my hair and face so I had to buy a cap. Luckily, I found one that suits my outfit. This picture was taken at the bullet train station while waiting for the train to arrive. I was obviously bored. :P See the magazines I was holding. I bought 3 that day. I couldn't resist. Their magazines are soo cool.. with all the japanese fashion in them.

Hello new shoes. :) This pair is one of the things I managed to find during panic-buying at Sogo. :P

The wonderful world of Taiwan DAY 3

Me and my picture day smile. :\

This shot is fail because 1.) there is a random head beside me. creepy. 2.) my eyes are half close. :I  But this picture has its perks. It's pretty.. just ignore the ones stated above :p

Temples always have sky-high stairs. I wonder how the monks go through with 'em everyday. They must be macho under those thick robes.

The wonderful world of Taiwan Day 2

Here we go again with the berets. Just so you'd know, I wore them throughout the whole trip. :P This piece is my first <3 I made it last last year if I remember correctly. It wasn't as nice before - the lining was bad, stitches were zigzagged when it's supposed to be straight, etc.. but I fixed it, tore it to pieces and sewed it again and now it's all better. :) I felt like a doctor doing surgery.

Overexposed shots. . but it has a very cool and flattering effect :)

I took a risk with this outfit. I think the plaid socks over the gray tights is a bit unusual but the hell with it.

This is me. =)) I'm not a fan of visiting too many Buddhist temples but I like to observe their intricate designs and interesting architectural designs though.

My vintage-style necklaces and bangles tied together with a polka dot ribbon to avoid the ding-ding noise.

The wonderful world of Taiwan DAY 1

I absolutely love berets. It's my signiature look. In school events where we don't have to wear our uniforms, I always have a hat on my head complementing my hair - usually berets such as that of in the pictures you see here taken by my dad.

*For more stuff about berets, visit my tumblr. I don't think you can isolate an entry there though but don't worry. You'll find that post as well as other cool stuff coz I didn't post much there :)) I transferred here instead.

At the Flora Expo. We were literally bathing in the sun's merciless rays completely surrounded by thousands of visitors. Our energies were too drained to explore every nook and cranny of the place, also since we were sort of exhausted from the flight and lack of sleep. We did see some interesting sights though. :)

I didn't dress up much that day coz I didn't think we would do anything but arrive at the airport and go to the hotel. I was just focusing on being comfortable in the congested plane as much as possible without the need of being all cautious of my clothing or anything.
